Welcome to C’AN PIRATA in Andratx, Mallorca!
C’AN PIRATA is a 100 year old village house turned into a modern oasis with lots of light, high ceilings, beautiful art from local artists and myself, old and new furniture from flea markets, young designers and some fancy places, and a big garden with old mediterranean plants like orange, lemon, almond and olive trees, hibiscus and oleander and even a banana...
I am Connie, the founder and creative director of ahoy, a boutique design and branding firm hatched in NYC. I want this home to be a refuge for my friends, my family, my partners and creative collaborators, and those who happen to fall in love with it. It is a place to find beauty and the joy of simple life. A place to explore, to create, to cook, hike, bike, cruise around, climb mountains or chill on beaches, to witness Palma, its incredible culture and ancient beauty, or the diverse villages and towns, their vineyards, their local customs and cuisine ... and ultimately, to enjoy stillness and do absolutely nothing but soak it all in from the hammock's perspective.
This house is great for a couple or a small group of friends up to four people, or a small family wanting to be in walking distance of an authentic Mallorquin small town center, but also be only a short drive to the harbor, great beaches, Palma, and mountains with its lovely villages and spectacular views.
Two bedrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs, sleep four people comfortably. A bright bathroom lets you walk right into the garden to enjoy the sun after your shower. A modern kitchen with all amenities and an outdoor BBQ call for great meals, and the Plaza at night is always a nice excuse not to cook. The house and garden is completely equipped with anything you need. Bedding, towels, all kitchen amenities, satellite TV and high speed internet, ceiling fans and central heat for the cooler months are provided. The downstairs bedroom and upstairs bedroom each feature a 180cm double bed. There’s an outdoor BBQ area, lounge chairs, a large outdoor dining table, a hammock, and finally, an outdoor shower!
